Overview
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Administrative Assistant. You’ll work closely with our lawyers in a versatile role, helping to manage client communications, prepare leases, handle dictation and typing, and ensure the smooth running of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in the legal industry. Wages are above award rates, and hours can be flexible for students or parents returning to work. Law firm experience preferred but not essential.
Experience / Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with office management systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proof-read and maintain accuracy in documents.
- Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to phone calls.
- General office administration and clerical support.
- Assist lawyers and conveyancing team with documentation and file management.
- Liaise directly with clients, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Electronic diary management and scheduling.
