The Opportunity :
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Superintendent to join our team for a residential-based role in Weipa, QLD. This is a Monday-to-Friday position offering 55 hours per week Full time, with excellent long-term benefits and support for relocation.
Duties and Responsibilities :
* Oversee and coordinate all electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
* Lead and supervise electrical teams, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance oversight
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of work
* Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities meet.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment
* Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment to meet project timelines
* Ensure adherence to environmental and health & safety policies at all times
* Assist with electrical audits and inspections, and respond to non-compliance issues
* Participate in toolbox talks, site meetings, and ongoing safety initiatives
About You :
1. Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate
2. Construction White Card
3. LVR / CPR certification (current)
4. Ability to obtain or complete a Coal Board Medical
5. Strong leadership, communication, and compliance knowledge
6. Residential availability in Weipa (this is not a FIFO role) or Willing to relocate
7. 2+ years experience as a Electrical Superintendent
