About the Role
Our client, a leading Government organisation, is seeking 3 experienced SAP Functional Experts. You will provide expert SAP HR/Payroll functional support across design, configuration, troubleshooting and integrations, including writing payroll rules, supporting regression and S/4 migration activities, enhancing workforce data processes, and ensuring payroll compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HR/Payroll issues and project tickets.
Design, configure and test SAP functionality to QH standards.
Write and maintain payroll schemas, rules and configuration.
Document changes, update functional specs and review ABAP technical specs.
Support S/4 Finance and HR/Payroll integration activities.
Contribute to IWFM, Payroll Compliance and eTimesheet workstreams.
Train users and support payroll cycle activities.
Promote standardisation and reduce customisation across SAP.
Skills & Experience
Strong SAP HR/Payroll functional expertise (OM, PA, Time, Payroll, CATS, ESS/MSS).
Hands-on experience writing payroll rules and schemas (must-have).
Experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and government awards.
Experience in large enterprise environments, ideally government or healthcare.
Understanding of integrations, APIs and ABAP-supported processes.
Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
