**About the Opportunity**
Our cheese (Lemnos) manufacturing site at Dandenong South is seeking a switched on and savvy HR Generalist to provide comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focused HR and IR support in line with the business direction and strategy.
As part of the site leadership team and reporting to the Site Manager, you'll be the secret behind our people and culture strategies by partnering with leaders to ensure that we continuously improve the company's people agenda.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- First point of contact for all HR related enquiries. Effectively dealing with all HR issues in line with company policies and procedures
- Drive engagement and culture through close partnering of leaders, communication and capability building.
- Partner with cost centre managers to optimise labour costs.
- EBA negotiations, disputes and grievance management and IR advice.
- End to end people processes including recruitment, Talent Mapping, Succession Planning, Career Development, Individual Development and Performance Reviews.
- Understands the value of showing face and lending an ear on the factory floor daily - where our hero process workers keep our dairy dreams alive.
- Has 5+ years HR experience showcasing leadership, conflict resolution, influential charm, relationship building fines, negation, and the knack for thriving independently
- Prior exposure to either FMCG, a fast paced environment and/or a blue collar workforce preferable
- A sense of humour sharper than a cheese knife and sleeve ready to roll up at a moment's notice.
