Support Dietitian Role
We are seeking a skilled individual to support our dietitian team in providing high-quality nutrition care to patients. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered dietitian to perform clinical and non-clinical duties, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the dietitian with implementation and monitoring of prescribed nutrition care plans.
* Apply clinical nutrition/therapeutic diet protocols as delegated by the supervising dietitian.
* Facilitate access to food and fluids for patients on therapeutic diets.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Nutrition & Dietary Practices or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience as a dietitian assistant or hospital healthcare worker.
* Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
* Demonstrated knowledge to assist in the provision of nutrition support and commitment to learning and safe delivery of nutrition care.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
