OHS Performance Advisor
* $113,198.00 per annum + 12% superannuation
* Full Time time, fixed term (until 8th January 2027)
* Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home - 3 days a week in office)
About the opportunity
The Self-Insurance OHS Performance Team forms part of an integral function supporting the sustainability and effective oversight of the self-insurance model, providing input into the assessment of self-insurer occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) performance.
The OHS Performance Advisor supports the strategic delivery of the OHSMS Assurance Program (Program) by providing strategic program oversight, governance, and stakeholder leadership for the OHSMS Assurance Program, including direct responsibility for program outputs, data interpretation, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is key to underpinning the smooth and efficient delivery, continuous improvement and success of the program, using innovative ways of working.
* Oversee OHS Performance Team governance activities and coordinate team operations to ensure effective delivery and alignment with program objectives.
* Track and analyse key data inputs and outputs of the program, providing regular reporting on progress, outcomes, and trends in self-insurer performance.
* Contribute to the evaluation of the program, including reviewing guidance, tools, and templates, and recommending improvements based on data, feedback, and outcomes.
* Design, implement, and manage internal and external stakeholder surveys, analysing feedback to develop actionable improvement plans and initiatives.
* Maintain oversight of project and action plans, monitoring progress, coordinating review points, and ensuring risks are escalated appropriately.

About you

* Working knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems requirements with experience applying or aligning operational safety programs or frameworks with these standards.
* Strong project management skills, expertise in establishing objectives, and monitoring timelines and outcomes
* Proven knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 including experience in interpretation and application of legislative obligations in the context of workplace health and safety management.
* Strong analytical and research skills to producing accurate reports/material within specified timeframes, used to make continuous improvements to current internal processes and systems.
* Experience working collaboratively with industry associations, regulators, or external partners to deliver shared initiatives or programs.
Qualifications
* Qualification in Health & Safety and/or work experience in Health & Safety.
* Qualification or experience in relevant fields such as; Governance, ISO management systems, Business, Commerce, Project Management.
