The Star Gold Coast have had an opportunity arise in our Property Operations Team. We are currently seeking a casual Handyperson to support the operations team across the Gold Coast precinct.
Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:
1. Carry out work issued by supervisors from start through to completion, maintaining a high standard of performance and pride in workmanship
2. Complete all work/repairs in a safe, professional and efficient manner
3. Maintain an accurate and efficient log of all important activities
4. Be available to assist as required in special projects or functions as requested by supervisors
5. Ensure tools and equipment are in good running condition at all times and are properly stored and accounted for
To be successful in this role you will have:
6. Experience working as a Handyperson in a large hotel or resort environment
7. Ability to assess, evaluate and discuss any unsolved problems related to completion of an assigned repair
8. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer systems to log and maintain accurate and up to date records
9. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
10. You will need a proactive, can do attitude to support the delivery of property operations tasks
