We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Functional Consultant to join our client's team in a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment, working across complex payroll solutions that directly impact business outcomes.
About the Role
As a Payroll Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, and support of SAP Payroll. You'll partner with business stakeholders, HR, and technical teams to deliver payroll solutions that are compliant, efficient, and aligned to business needs.
You will be involved in:
* Leading payroll configuration, testing, and implementation activities
* Providing functional expertise across SAP Payroll
* Supporting payroll operations, issue resolution, and system enhancements
* Driving continuous improvement and ensuring legislative compliance
* Contributing to end-to-end payroll project implementations and upgrades
About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running with:
* 8+ years of SAP Payroll configuration experience (Australian payroll is mandatory)
* 3+ end-to-end payroll implementations (mix of ERPs is fine, but at least 1 must be SAP)
* Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and time/payroll integration
* Experience in testing, cutover, and payroll go-lives
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business teams
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
* Our client cannot provide sponsorship, must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
