Manual Labourer Role Overview
This position involves undertaking manual tasks using hand tools and operating small plant items for the minor construction and/or maintenance of assets.
* Roads, road related infrastructure, including drainage, kerb & gutter, bus shelters, footpaths, cycleways, parking areas, traffic facilities and bridges.
* Boat ramps, seawalls, jetties and flood mitigation assets.
* Recreational facilities, parks and reserves, walking tracks and viewing platforms.
We are seeking a reliable individual with experience working in civil construction and/or maintenance activities to provide urgent works in response to emergencies within our community.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Class C Drivers Licence.
* A General Construction Induction Card (white card).
* Proof of Right to work in Australia.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work safely on a wide range of projects and deliver quality workmanship either working independently or as part of a team.
