Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain business objectives for assurance of supply, quality, service, and compliance with purchasing policies and processes.
* Evaluate and process purchase requests, quotations, and orders using approved vendors.
* Manage the rotable asset cycle including NCRs, repairs, and replenishment to meet operational demand.
* Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping within the MFAIS system.
* Review and authorize order/invoice discrepancies and facilitate timely supplier payments.
* Monitor and expedite purchase orders to satisfy demand including daily review of inventory and outstanding orders.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers fleet engineers operations and stores throughout the purchase-to-payment process.
* Maintain accurate master data update lead times min/max levels safety stock delivery dates and vendor information.
* Proactively share information solve supply problems effectively and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
About You
* Purchasing or supply chain experience ideally in rail or a similar industry.
* Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing processes forecasting and replenishment principles.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience adhering to policies and procedures in a high-compliance environment.
* Excellent problem-solving organizational and record-keeping abilities.
