Estia Health Kangaroo Flat is located in the heart of Bendigo in regional Victoria, approximately 150 km northwest of Melbourne. This role is not based in metropolitan Melbourne; applicants should live locally or be willing to relocate. Our 144-bed residence is known for its solid community connections, modern facilities, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. With landscaped gardens and spacious common areas, our team is focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We are seeking an experienced Care Director to work full time. Reporting to the head of the home, the Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM), you will use your clinical background to improve residents’ wellbeing. As second in command, you’ll: Responsibilities
Be responsible for the assessment, planning and evaluation of resident care, while partnering with family members to ensure safe, high-quality care Promote a positive learning environment to grow the capability and knowledge of our carers and nurses Oversee clinical governance through quality improvement, auditing and reporting Monitor availability and provision of clinical resources Develop clinical care programs and continually improve them Support financial management of the home Qualifications & Experience
At least 3 years in a clinical leadership role within a large aged care home A genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives Qualifications as a registered nurse with current AHPRA registration Experience in managing people and budgets Prior experience in clinical management in aged care What we offer
