Contract Manager Job
We are looking for a skilled Contract Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key supplier contracts end-to-end, ensuring that suppliers provide the competitiveness required to support the business and enable optimal supply base changes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage supplier contracts end-to-end and work closely with technical and programme management teams to ensure requirements are executed in accordance with technical, program, cost and performance requirements.
* Evaluate and ensure key supplier's contract coverage is suitable and incorporates proper flow down.
* Manage and resolve supplier's claims and disputes.
* Identify, monitor and implement contractual changes and manage commercial implications of changes in scope and contractual claims.
* Ensure alignment with global procurement strategy to benefit from holistic procurement category environment.
* Monitor sub-contract cost, quality and schedule against contract requirements.
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification and/or significant experience as a commercial or contracts manager.
* 10+ years procurement experience or equivalent preferably in aviation or defence sectors.
* Contract management experience of major contracts, value > $10M with high complexity and risk.
* Pre and Post Contract Management credentials.
* Claim Management.
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary team environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management, stakeholders and partners.
This role could be located either within the project team or in Europe at a convenient location.
