High Voltage Systems Specialist
This position involves working with high voltage systems to ensure reliability and safety.
You will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment, constructing and installing system components, equipment, and fixtures, and diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in installations.
You must have a strong understanding of electrical standards and be able to work effectively independently or within a team.
In addition to technical skills, you should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment.
* Construct and install system components, equipment, and fixtures.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in installations.
* Make modifications to various devices using standard test equipment.
* Adhere to safety procedures when working with electricity.
* Measure and control electrical parameters.
* Prepare technical documentation.
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years of experience working with medium and high voltages.
* Union/Utility MV and HV certifications, or the Australian equivalent.
* Knowledgeable of operating/maintaining switch gears, transformers, isolation breakers.
