Medical Officer Role
The Medical Officer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and cost-effective clinical practice by participating in quality enhancement strategies such as peer review, clinical audits, and adherence to evidence-based protocols. The role will involve providing daily public outpatient clinics and ward rounds at the health service.

* Contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion and illness prevention programs
* Maintain and update clinical skills and knowledge to reflect contemporary rural medical practice
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Essential Requirements:
* MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA
* Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., FRACGP or FACRRM) are highly regarded but not mandatory
* Enrolled or accepted into a GP training program that facilitates a provider number and access to Medicare benefits for private practice
