Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium, as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle, and Wollongong. ABOUT THE ROLE
The new club features strength, cardio, and functional training zones, an outdoor training terrace, separate group fitness, mind-body, and cycle studios. It also includes an indoor 25m pool, outdoor 50m pool, spa, cold plunge, steam room, traditional sauna, and infrared sauna rooms. Additionally, there is an indoor/outdoor café, day spa, golf simulator, and child-minding facilities for members and their guests.
This role will work closely with the Aquatics Manager to ensure a premium experience is delivered to our members and their guests. The position requires the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, utilizing our swimming program framework to teach technique-based lessons.
ABOUT YOU
You will have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to coach and demonstrate correctly. Confidence and skills to interact with a diverse range of children and parents are essential. You should have a passion for working with children, nurturing their confidence as they learn to swim and improve their abilities at all levels. You will be fun, flexible, and possess a can-do attitude.
Availability is required for mornings, afternoons, weekdays, and weekends.
You need to be qualified as:
- Swim Australia Teacher OR AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualified or equivalent
- Current valid working with children check
