Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Leadership Role
Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for experienced nurses and midwives to contribute their expertise in perinatal mental health care delivery.
Job Description:
* The successful candidate will be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice specific to Perinatal Mental Health.
* They will demonstrate sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory, providing clinical leadership, advice, and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team responsible for quality and cost-effective nursing and/or midwifery services consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation, and best practice.
* This position will provide a consultation-liaison service for perinatal mental health consumers within Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, offering a pathway to care for women at risk of perinatal mental health issues.
