Role Summary
This role supports the day-to-day operations of AusAir's e-commerce business, working across inventory, fulfilment, customer experience, and Shopify systems. The focus is on execution, coordination, and operational accuracy, ensuring the business runs smoothly as volume and complexity increase.
You'll work closely with the founders and senior leadership as a trusted execution partner, helping translate priorities into action and ensuring the business runs smoothly as it scales. The role is well‐suited to someone who enjoys being close to decision‐making and acting as a reliable right hand in a fast‐moving, founder‐led environment.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Fulfilment Operations
* Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and flag replenishment needs.
* Execute stock transfers and replenishment plans in line with forecasts.
* Liaise with 3PL partners to resolve fulfilment, shipping, and operational issues.
* Maintain accurate inventory data across all systems.
Customer Experience Support
* Oversee customer service workflows and ensure tickets are handled on time.
* Monitor response times and escalations, flagging recurring issues or trends.
* Assist with documenting and improving customer service processes.
Shopify & E-commerce Systems
* Manage day-to-day Shopify operations as required.
* Maintain shipping rules, discounts, and automations as required.
* Identify and escalate technical or operational issues.
Founder & Cross-Functional Support
* Coordinate content creation outreach and manage incoming creative assets for Meta advertising.
* Support founders with operational follow-ups, coordination, and execution across marketing, logistics, and external partners.
* Assist with expense tracking, categorisation, and operational record-keeping.
Skills You'll Develop
* Practical experience across end-to-end e-commerce operations in a scaling DTC business.
* Strong foundations in inventory management, fulfilment, and Shopify operations.
* Exposure to customer experience optimisation and operational problem-solving.
* Hands‐on experience supporting performance marketing creative workflows.
* The skills and confidence to progress into a broader E-commerce Operations Manager role.
Who We Are Looking For
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workflows.
* Confident working in systems and operational tools (Shopify experience preferred).
* Clear communicator who takes ownership and follows through.
* Comfortable working closely with founders and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
