Facilities Technical Officer - Plumber
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Technical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and delivering maintenance services, as well as leading preventative and corrective maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work request management, including system input and allocation of work requests, review of maintenance service records, and prioritization of repairs.
* Maintenance of thermostatic mixing valves and backflow prevention devices across university buildings.
* Review, plan, and undertake trade-specific and other maintenance repair works from corrective, preventative, and statutory maintenance services records.
* Respond and make safe reported hazards to reduce risk to staff, students, and visitors.
Requirements:

* Demonstrated high-level organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Physical ability to carry out numerous manual handling tasks.
* Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment.
