You will contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice approaches in Investment Risk Analytics and Reporting.
The team is responsible for Market, Liquidity, and Counterparty Risk reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Investment Risk Analyst, you will gain exposure to a diverse business environment, a wide range of asset classes, and complex product structures within a multi-boutique model.
Your responsibilities will include:Delivering recuring tasks and risk reports with accuracy and timelinessContributing to the enhancement of Investment Risk monitoring, governance, reporting, data integrity, and over-the-counter instrument captureEnsuring the accuracy of risk related documentation, such as policies, standards, frameworks, and proceduresImproving existing risk processes, controls, and engineer future-fit solutionsWorking with stakeholders and service providers to deliver key uplift objectives.About youWe're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.
Ideally, you will have:Degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related fieldPostgraduate qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) highly regarded5+ years in financial services, including 2+ years in Investment RiskStrong understanding of Australian Investment Risk regulations; offshore exposure a plusExperience across at least one of these asset classes: Fixed Income, Equities, Multi AssetFamiliarity with derivativesExperience with third-party risk models and explaining risk drivers to stakeholdersAdvanced Excel skills essential; VBA, PowerBI, and FactSet desirableStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExcellent stakeholder engagement and time management abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Lists.At Perpetual, we foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
