About this role
* Facilitate effective data governance through working closely with data owners and data stewards to ensure effective data governance across the organisation. This includes facilitating meetings, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to data governance policies and procedures.
* Continuously seek and implement improvements in data governance operations to enhance data quality, accessibility, and reliability
* Act as the data governance product owner, co-ordinating data governance and AI initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with the our strategic objectives.
* Advocate for data literacy within the organisation, providing education and support to enhance understanding and effective use of data.
* Ensure data and AI governance is integrated into change management for data & analytics projects, working with the change lead to address key impacts and keep stakeholders informed.
Mandatory skills:
* Strong stakeholder management
* 5+ years in the same or very similar role
* Understanding of data and AI governance requirements
* Data management and analytics
* Business analysis experience
* AI ethics
* Communication and storytelling skills
