Supervisor-266893**SMP Supervisor****UGL** UGL provides engineering, construction, and maintenance services across industries including oil and gas, power, renewables, resources, water, defence, and telecommunications, in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.**About the role** UGL is looking for an **SMP supervisor** to join our team onsite in **BP Kwinana.** This position is integrated into our existing brownfield execution team.The purpose of this position is to provide frontline supervision of all work activities and leadership of both company and subcontractor trade and non-trade personnel.As a supervisor, you will be involved delivering day-to-day oversight to facilitate the successful completion of all work activities, providing technical advice and assistance while ensuring UGL and BP Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality goals and objectives are met and maintained**What we offer*** Competitive salary.* Shape your career with an Individual Development Plan.* Participate in our Wellness Program with AIA Vitality.* Access our OneRewards Discount Program.* Benefit from 16 weeks of paid primary parental leave.**Key Responsibilities*** Supervision of trade or non-trade personnel, managing the safe use of plant, equipment, and tooling, ensuring all activities are completed safely, effectively, and timely.* Assess risks and hazards impacting tasks and implement methods to manage hazards to prevent incidents, injuries, or damage to equipment.* Facilitate coordination with planners, supervisors, and subcontractors for job planning.* Monitor permits, procedures, and compliance with BP site requirements.* Provide daily or weekly progress reports to the Coordinator or Superintendent.* Support the implementation of industrial and employee relation policies, procedures, and processes.* Resolve on-site industrial relation issues, escalating unresolved matters to management.**About you*** Cert IV or Diploma in Frontline Leadership and Supervision training – desirable.* 2+ years of supervision experience and proven leadership in a complex process plant or heavy industry environment.* 5+ years of experience in core maintenance, brownfield projects, and turnaround maintenance activities within oil/gas or heavy industry environments.* Experience with Tank projects (API650 API653) highly desirable* Knowledge of quality and safety systems, codes, standards, and workpack processes.* Competence in reading P&IDs, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.* Knowledge of CMMS platforms like JD Edwards, SAP, or similar systems.* Experience managing HSE, quality, schedule, and productivity deliverables.* Maintenance performance management expertise, including KPIs.**About UGL** As a member of the CIMIC Group of companies, we value diversity in our team's backgrounds, ideas, work styles.
