About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll deliver day-to-day maintenance across multiple nearby villages. No two days are the same—this role covers everything from general repairs to preventative maintenance and resident support.
You'll be hands-on, visible in the community, and trusted to get things done safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Complete general repairs (carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, etc.)
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
* Work across multiple nearby villages as required
* Coordinate and oversee contractors where needed
* Maintain tools, equipment and accurate maintenance records
* Follow WHS procedures and ensure safe work practices
What You'll Bring
* Experience in maintenance, handyman or property services roles
* Strong all-round practical skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to manage tasks across multiple sites
* Good communication skills and a resident-focused mindset
* Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented
* Current driver's licence (essential)
* Physically capable of hands-on work
Desirable
* Trade qualification (carpentry, building or similar)
* Experience in retirement living, aged care, hospitality or residential settings
