About the Role
The role of Product Manager is pivotal in managing existing products, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting product development. The role works closely with stakeholders across operations, sales, marketing, IT, legal and risk and will report to the Head of Product.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Manage and maintain the product suite
* Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
* Build commercial cases.
* Coordinate product changes including transitions to new managers, fee updates, feature changes, and regulatory changes.
* Conduct competitor analysis and comparisons to support commercial decisions.
* Manage BAU and regulatory updates, including compliance changes
* Ensure customer/member communications and collateral (PDS, Target Market Determinations, Significant Event Notices, adviser updates) are accurate, timely, and compliant.
* Collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and uplift processes.
* Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries and decisions.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Experience and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
* At least 8 years of experience within investment bonds, superannuation, platforms/wrap/IDPS, investments, payments, or wealth/retirement products is essential.
* Strong understanding of financial adviser landscape
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as, Corporations Act, APRA/ASIC guidelines, DDO and TMD.
* Resilient, curious, and solutions-focused, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
