Responsibilities
The District Manager Medical Imaging is responsible for the strategic advancement, implementation and cost efficient delivery of medical imaging services.
The District Manager provides oversight of the relationship with the contracted provider for radiologist reporting of diagnostic studies to support the provision of a quality, sustainable diagnostic imaging service for the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD).

Selection Criteria
* Current Authority to Practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA and NSW EPA licence (IA14).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage a wide range of people.
* Advanced expertise and understanding of a wide range of imaging services; significant experience managing substantial imaging workforces.
* Experience developing and optimising a range of clinical services, including protocols and new services, ensuring patient and staff safety.
* Experience applying legislation and regulations to medical imaging; developing policies and procedures; experience in accreditation of imaging services.
* Experience in strategic management of imaging services, including finances, workforce and succession planning, service development and accreditation.
* Current unrestricted driver's licence; willingness to drive/travel as role requires, including long distances and overnight stays.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for permanent employment, you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
