Job Description
As Senior Payroll Officer / Lead, you will:
* Lead and mentor a small payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
* Drive process improvements and system enhancements, supporting payroll change management initiatives.
* Partner with stakeholders to deliver education and outstanding customer service.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Contribute to audits, reporting, and workforce projects that enhance payroll efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
* Strong payroll experience with exposure to coaching or mentoring others.
* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Advanced knowledge of payroll systems (Chris 21 looked upon favourably but not a prerequisite)
* Ability to interpret and implement Enterprise Agreements.
* A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
