Salary Range: $121,496 - $136,746 pending experience
Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa is looking for passionate and dedicated Business Manager to work in a Permanent, Full Time capacity working 38hrs/week.
This role leads and manages the college’s financial, administrative, and support operations, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and alignment with the mission of Catholic Education. The position oversees accounting, budgeting, debt management, and reporting to maintain financial integrity and transparency. It also involves supervising office and support staff, maintaining facilities, ensuring workplace health and safety, and fostering continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a commitment to Catholic values and student wellbeing. They will work collaboratively with the Principal, TCEO, and broader school community to support strategic and operational goals.
Mandatory Criteria:
Applicants must hold a current paid Working with Children Blue Card (or have the ability to obtain one prior to commencement), possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline, and hold current accreditation and membership with an Australian accounting professional body such as CPA or CAANZ. A current driver’s licence, willingness to travel within the Diocese as required, and the physical capability to perform the role safely are also essential.
