Personal Care Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Lady McCusker Home. Our residents rely on you to provide high-quality care and support in their daily lives.

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our residents, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored support to enhance their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care and assistance to meet individual needs, ensuring the highest level of comfort and dignity for each resident.
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH RESIDENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND OTHER STAFF MEMBERS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION.
* Administer medications as required, following established protocols and procedures.
* Conduct regular assessments to identify changing needs and develop personalized care plans.
* Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, including medication administration, care plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
* Previous experience administering medications and providing personal care support.
* Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months) and NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Evidence of current Flu and Covid Vaccinations.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
