We are offering competitive rates for an experienced Authorised Prescriber of Medicinal Cannabis. This is a remote role, with hours available 7am to 10pm, 7days a week.
About the role
Seeking a passionate Telehealth Medicinal Cannabis Doctor to join our growing team. This is a remote/work from home contract role, providing you the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a Telehealth Medicinal Cannabis Doctor, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, personalised healthcare to our patients through our innovative virtual care platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations with patients to assess their suitability for medicinal cannabis treatment
- Develop individualised treatment plans and provide ongoing monitoring and support for patients
- Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, regulations and industry developments in medicinal cannabis
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with all legal and ethical requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our telehealth services and patient experience
Requirements
- General Practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experienced medicinal cannabis Authorised Prescriber
- Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport virtually
- Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic medical record systems
- Adaptable, innovative and committed to providing the highest standard of patient care
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
