Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Laundry Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking an energetic and passionate leader with a minimum 3 years experience in Hotel Housekeeping / Laundry Management to join our Commercial Laundry Team at Ayers Rock Resort. This role will see you, supervise and direct shift leaders and laundry attendants through daily operations of providing quality clean linen for the Resort to use in the daily running of operations.
Key Duties
* Provide excellence in the delivery of the laundry products whilst maintaining the quality and timely delivery of products and services at all times.
* Develop a team skilled in ensuring guest needs are met and wherever possible exceeding while recognising the relationship between staff satisfaction and guest satisfaction.
* Actively seek guest feedback, and personally resolve guest complaints within your level of authority.
* Monitor costs daily and ensure the department is running efficiently.
* Manage labour costs and manning levels in line with budgeted / forecasted / achieved occupancy levels.
* Provide the Laundry team with support and guidance to ensure the successful operation of the department.
