OverviewGraphic Artist at Spotlight Retail Group (SRG) is a role within a fast-paced Shared Services Marketing Team in South Melbourne.
The position supports brands including Spotlight, Anaconda, and Harris Scarfe, contributing to the visual identity across marketing collateral.What You Will Be DoingResponsible for working on Catalogue, POS, Press, Electronic Direct Mail, VM and other marketing collateral for the Spotlight Retail Group's brands.Build out high-calibre collateral from briefs supplied.Adhere to brand style guides and act as a custodian of brand integrity.Implement creative direction through to completion.Ensure all visual communication standards are met.Proofread own work to ensure accuracy.Manage workload to meet timings, and communicate and negotiate around deadlines where required.Adhere to and understand briefs.Produce artwork-ready files on time with high attention to detail, ensuring deadlines and specifications are met and projects are released accurately and efficiently.About YouA relevant tertiary education in a creative field.Proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD).
Experience with Figma, Premiere, After Effects and AI image generation models is advantageous.Good design, typographical, layout and production skills.Ability to learn and understand retail event timelines and the annotation and approval process between a retail studio and the broader marketing team.Sharp eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, accurate artwork.Experience navigating studio servers and DAMs is advantageous.Why Join the Spotlight GroupWe are privately owned, with growth and innovation across our brands.
