About The Role
Our thriving audit practice works with and provides services to a vast array of entities in Queensland and beyond. You will be working closely with our team as well as independently on some audits.
In your career with sps audit, you will have the opportunity to achieve your qualifications as a Registered Company Auditor as well as enjoy flexible working hours. A motor vehicle may also be available for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute audits of large private company and not-for profit clients ranging in size and industry
* Complete planning sections of audit files with limited supervision
* Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the design of an appropriate audit approach for each assignment
* Work closely with the engagement manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas
* Awareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across a variety of frameworks
* Analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments
* Draft audit reports and management representation letters
* Complete financial statements for a number of different entity types
About You
* Audit experience in a professional services firm
* CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Experience in preparing financial statements
* Ability to identify scope and solve problems
* Be able to take a small audit from start to finish
