About the Role
Country Blinds is seeking a hands-on, experienced Carpenter/Joiner to join our professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a trade background or solid practical experience in installation work.
You'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining our range of high-quality blinds, curtains, café blinds, and shutters in residential and commercial settings across Adelaide.

* Starting Hourly rate of $34–$39, depending on experience and capability

What You'll Need
* Strong experience in a trade, construction, or hands-on installation role
* Proficient with power and hand tools (drill, impact driver, grinder, etc.)
* Comfortable working on ladders and in physical roles (7–10 hour days)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A full, current driver's licence

Your Responsibilities
* Construct, erect, install, structures that facilitate technical awning installations.
* Cut, shape, and fit timber, steel and aluminium parts to form structures and fittings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
* Study drawings and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
* Where necessary order and select timbers and materials, and prepare layouts for installation projects.
* Cut materials, assemble, and screw cut/shaped parts to create framework and fittings.
* Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, and door/awning frames where required.
* Assemble prepared materials and components to form structures and fittings ready for installation.
* Cut and prepare wood joints for strong, accurate assembly.
* Construct concrete formwork when required.
* Repair existing fittings and installations as necessary.
* Work with a variety of materials including aluminium, timber, steel and gyprock.
