The Project & Opportunity:
HumeLink East involves expanding the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, designing, and constructing 230 km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line connecting Bannaby substation at the Wondalga interface with HumeLink West.
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer for bulk earthworks for this project.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the Construction Manager.
Collaborate with design teams for feedback and constructability reviews.
Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers.
Support and provide technical assistance to supervisors and superintendents.
Oversee procurement of plant, equipment, and resources.
Provide regular reports, including end-of-month cost reviews.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Excellent people skills and strong communication abilities to build trust.
A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent.
Experience as a Senior Project Engineer or an established Project Engineer ready for the next step.
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders to achieve outcomes and develop strong relationships.
