We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Business Development Representative in Oakleigh South.
About the role
To maintain and build successful business relationships with new and existing partners, increase sales volume by maintaining best practise in customer service.
Your main responsibilities
* Be able to perform a strategic plan in the development of new business.
* Be able to present to Senior Management of a vendor to win new business.
* Build effective relationships with key accounts through effective account management tools. (Become their trusted advisor)
* To report on a monthly/quarterly basis to the team on the development of market, by highlighting strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats
* Be able to present to Senior Management Executives as required.
* Be able to be proactive in daily call outs activities.
* Thorough understanding of Hardware, Software and Services
* Increase sales volume from key accounts as allocated but also increase the breadth of trading base.
* Be able to capitalise on any sales opportunities and be aware of any weaknesses in the sales process with key accounts.
Skills and Experience
* Have completed TAFE qualifications or university graduate preferably with a major in IT; and/or 2 or more years' experience in a similar role, whether it be through another distributor, vendor, or reseller.
* A current and valid driver's license is required, and the use of your own personal motor vehicle that is well maintained/serviced and comprehensively insured are essential
