About the Role
At Freight Mart International, we are a leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics solutions. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Senior Client Services.
The Position
Reporting to the Customer Relationship Manager, the position will consist of the following duties and responsibilities:
Provide administrative and customer service support to the sales team
Prepare and follow up on freight quotations, tenders, and rate requests from clients
Liaise with clients, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment processing
Assist in maintaining client records, tracking shipments, and communicating with clients
Respond promptly to client inquiries and escalate as needed
Support business development by identifying opportunities for upselling or improvements
Coordinate with operations teams to meet client deadlines and service expectations
Requirements
Prior experience in freight forwarding, transport and logistics
Knowledge of Incoterms, transport modes, and international shipping documentation
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills with clients and team members with a proactive approach to tasks
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Freight forwarding software (CargoWise) experience would be preferred
