* We have an exciting role for a Nurse Consultant to join our team and contribute to providing expert nursing care to patients with Tuberculosis (TB).
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-level clinical nursing expertise, leadership, and management within the area of TB, particularly for paediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Expert Clinical Nursing Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individual patients and groups, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of TB.
2. Lead and Collaborate with Teams: Act as a clinical leader and expert resource for patients, families, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and the broader community across South Australia.
3. Develop and Implement Programs: Exercise autonomy and decision-making within the scope of practice, collaborating with Paediatric TB medical officers and the broader healthcare team to develop and implement programs aimed at improving patient, client, and service outcomes.
4. Mentor and Support Colleagues: Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, including mentorship and support for professional practice, ensuring accountability for nursing practice, delegation of care, clinical decision-making, and alignment with relevant policies and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registered Nurse: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Leadership Experience: Effective leadership skills, highly developed in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
* Autonomy and Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and exercise autonomy and decision-making within the scope of practice.
