We are based in Karratha which is a city in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, adjoining the port of Dampier. Karratha is approximately 1,200km from Perth and is a beautiful, safe, and family-friendly place to earn a living and enjoy the Pilbara lifestyle.
We are looking for a full time Signwriter / Installer for graphics and print operations to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients
* Preparing cost estimates for labour and materials
* Designing and creating signs and graphics using computer software and digital printers
* Laminating
* Vinyl application to vehicles, boats, commercial offices and windows
* Installation of Substrates to Commercial Buildings, Industrial Sheds and Machinery
* Light fabrication of Sign Frames. Light boxes and Braced signage
* Fixing and cutting of various machinery adhering to safety procedures
* Installation of signs on-site
* The use of scaffold and EWP equipment
* Maintaining a safe working environment, especially when working at heights
* Working in a variety of conditions, both indoors and outdoors
Selection Criteria:
* Experienced sign writer;
* Efficient in production and job management;
* Excellent ability to build and maintain client relationships;
* Efficient in graphics and print production on all signage requirements and installations;
* Efficient in the vinyl wrap industry;
* Ability to adapt to a changing environment;
* Ability to work efficiently;
* Ability to work in a very hot and dusty environment;
* Someone who values safety and respects the safety requirements of all customers and clients;
* C-Class Drivers license essential;
* EWP and Working at Heights Training preferred;
* Clean work standards.
