Our company is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to oversee the delivery and support of smaller projects in the APA region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing low to medium value projects from commencement to completion, assuming responsibilities of a Senior/Project Manager during periods of leave, and providing administrative support and scheduling.
This role requires strong leadership and influencing skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a sound engineering background with some commercial experience.
The ideal candidate will have five or more years' exposure and knowledge related to the mining industry, specifically within electrical and control systems engineering. A tertiary qualification in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering is also required.
We are looking for someone who has strong mathematical capabilities and is proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and SAP.
The candidate will work on various projects, including setting up project files, carrying out project budget and scope reviews, coordinating the delivery of commercial documents, and preparing internal and external progress reports.
They will also need to attend customer design review meetings and HAZOPS, and facilitate the flow of technical documents and information between Metso and the customer or with suppliers.
