As a designer, you strive to define experiences that exceed the expectations of our clients and their customers. Your work inspires and wins the hearts and minds of customers and stakeholders because you care about the fine details without losing sight of the holistic journey.
You'll work within a multi-disciplinary design team to plan, visualise and create new user and service experiences. You'll understand design research techniques and service design methodologies to mould the experience that our end-users live through. As an experienced designer, you'll be able to handle projects at every stage of the product lifecycle from initial assessment brief, through research to design and final delivery.
What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for the design of digitally enabled products and services using your broad skillset across service, interaction, and visual design working on end-to-end design solutions. You will plan, prioritise, and deliver experience design activities autonomously. You'll be expected to demonstrate knowledge and depth in the craft of experience design, as an individual producer, as a mentor for junior colleagues, and as a contributor to our global community of practice.
You will lead client conversations within your domain, providing articulate recommendations and helping guide client choices. You will have opportunities to lead small teams on projects and contribute to business development through proposal writing and pitches.
Your fellow frogs will rely on you to:
- Plan and manage design research activities (market analysis, ethnographic, quantitative, qualitative ) collaboratively with the project team and know when to use these tools
- Plan and execute customer journeys, insights, user maps, and other models
- Analyse research data identifying and generating meaningful insights and behavioural patterns
- Create and facilitate workshops with diverse groups of clients and stakeholders
- Define and structure deliverables consistent with project goals
- Create presentations and design strategic documentation
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to drive product strategy and development roadmaps
- Work collaboratively with your multi-skilled frog teammates
We want you to have:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience designing digital products
- Bachelor's degree or course in design, UX, HCI or related design discipline
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design processes and passionate about solving complex experience challenges
- Strong skills in conducting and synthesising research into compelling and actionable insights and recommendations
- Demonstrable skills in user research, user journeys, wireframes, prototyping and interaction design
- Excellent portfolio showcasing your best designs and clearly demonstrates your strategy, processes and approach to solving design problems
- A desire to 'own' a product from content strategy to specific micro-interactions
- Ability to facilitate workshops, usability testing sessions and training both in-person and hybrid
- Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences from entry level to executive
- Interested in storytelling and comfortable with public speaking
- Comprehensive attention to detail
- A strong understanding of digital design best practices including accessibility and design patterns across iOS and Android
- Ability to understand the impact of technology on design deliverables
