We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to fill a vacancy in our busy Finance Team based in Dandenong South working 5 days per week (3 days work from office 2 days work from home
As a member of the Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager your role will be a broad and challenging one where you will lead financial reporting and provide support to a range of key stakeholders within the business.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
* Preparation & submission of monthly PRH ANZ and related entities flash results / P&Ls
* Monthly PRH AUS and related entities management reporting packs
* Quarterly PRH AUS and related entities IFRS statutory reporting packs
* Annual PRH ANZ and related entities budget reporting packs
* Support PRH ANZ and related entities budgets and forecasts (P&L and B/S) and provide meaningful insights
* Preparation of annual PRH AUS and related entities AGAAP statutory accounts
* Month-end journals and tasks
* P&L review and analysis of monthly results
* Complete G/L reconciliations and ensure the integrity of the balance sheet
* IFRS16 lease accounting and reporting
* Monthly ANZ operating free cashflow reporting & analysis
* Manage external audit relationship & coordinate annual audit process
* Supports PRH ANZ and related entities Internal Control process for Financial Accounting
* Provide technical accounting advisory support
* Projects process improvements system enhancements and implementations
* Review and update accounting policies
The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong analytical skills attention to detail and proficiency in financial reporting and compliance.
You will have :
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and be CPA / CA qualified
* 5 years relevant experience in accounting / finance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A team oriented and customer service focus
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Complex problem solving skills
* Understanding of finance ERP systems and G / L module integration
* Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills
