A Field Specialist – Wellbore Intervention/Fishing will provide technical support to Technology, Commercial, and Service Delivery organizations for Fishing Services. You'll support on Conventional Fishing, Casing Exit, and Wellbore Cleanup applications. You'll provide technical support throughout the job cycle, from portfolio management and pre‐job assessment, through job execution, and post‐job analysis.
As a Field Specialist – Wellbore Intervention/Fishing, you will be responsible for:
* Running multiple applications of medium risk in one product line in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group.
* Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job.
* Providing front‐line support with customer and accurately completing all paperwork prior to or upon completion of the job.
* Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Work Experience
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a Technical Diploma or equivalent knowledge with solid experience in Oilfield Services.
* Have at least 3–5 years' experience in Wellbore Intervention (e.g., Plug & Abandonment, Fishing, Milling, Section Milling, Casing Exit, Whipstock, etc.).
* Have a good knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work‐over rig operations.
* Have the ability to work well and communicate effectively with others.
* Be able to work a varied schedule and be available for a 24‐hour callout as necessary.
