Job description Purpose of role
Immediate start required.
Located in Geelong area. We are a family-owned Precast Panel manufacturing business, with around 20 tradespeople. Office hours are Mon-Sat as standard.
Client liaising through a project from start to finish. Complete BOQ’s/estimating for tendering purposes.
Role:
* Estimating and tender submissions
* Follow up on tenders submitted
* Document control and shop drawing reviews
* Pricing and assessing variations
* General administration duties
* Scheduling of steelwork
* The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Qualifications/Experience
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management would be advantageous
* 5+ years industry experience doing similar work
* Previous experience Aconex/Procore advantageous
* Understanding of construction documentation
* Understanding of construction estimating process
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written
* Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs
* Hold a Construction Industry White Card
