Rainbow Region Kids deliver well-established child-centered services that provide National Quality Standard early childhood education and care to school-aged children, incorporating the My Time Our Place framework at multiple sites across the Northern Rivers.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the service. Responsibilities include purchasing stock and equipment, assisting with recruitment of educators, organising uniforms, training, mentoring & coaching, performance management, and assisting with programming.

Selection Criteria
* Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) and/or 3 years'
* Demonstrated supervision skills.
* Demonstrated experience communicating in a range of contexts.
* Knowledge and understanding of childhood development and programming for children.
* An understanding of Children's Services Regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the My Time Our Place Framework.
* Demonstrated experience in implementing quality improvement through and evaluating routines.
* Ability to undertake computing tasks.
* Experience using the Xplor database - or similar program.
Additional Requirements
* A current NSW Drivers licence.
* Current NSW working with children's check prior to commencement.
* Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate.
* Current Approved Child Protection certificate.
