**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced **Regional Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Training Manager** to join our East Coast Operations Training team based in our Sherwood Branch.
You will be responsible for managing the RTO operations in your respective region and delivering accredited training requirements for Komatsu. This includes the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training across our branches based throughout the East Coast of Australia; as well as supporting our external customers.
You will be responsible for supporting and implementing the strategic business growth by promoting Komatsu's RTO training services and solutions to external clients in order to increase activity and boost revenue through the RTO leveraging off the business development efforts by existing sales professionals within Komatsu.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic leadership to meet the business objectives as set by the General Manager including taking accountability for performance outcomes
- Ensure that accredited training meets the requirements of internal and external customers
- Promote and market training to our internal and external stakeholders
- Assist other National Training Manager's as part of a shared service initiative
- Promote training to customers as quality OEM certified and nationally recognised programs.
- Ensure ongoing compliance of the RTO including ASQA/State based contractual reporting requirements for your respective region
- Promote training to customers as quality OEM certified technical programs
- Oversee development and implement curriculum design technical programs
- Provide overall operational management of e-learning technologies in collaboration with General Manager
- Collaborate with Client Relationships Manager and follow up and convert technical training enquiries
- Effectively manage and motivate a group of trainers that are geographically dispersed
- Share management of the training function with the Regional RTO Training Manager - West Coast Operations
- Analysis of the training group for existing knowledge, educational advancement, adult learning principles and methodologies
- Manage and implement innovative training business solutions for Komatsu e.g. VR/AR

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Diploma qualification in the field of Business and/or Leadership
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Extensive experience working in an RTO environment
- Understanding of professional qualifications relevant to the technical training discipline
- Deliver quality training and assessment to students and clients
- Customer service focus
- Demonstrated financial, resources and operation budget management skills
- Attention to detail, excellent communication, time management and organisational ability
- Demonstrated experience of proactive client engagement to uncover opportunities to provide service solutions and sell services
- Ability to actively contribute as a team member and leader
- Excellent oral and written skills
