Accommodation Hotel Receptionist (Guest Service Agent)
We are seeking an Accommodation Hotel Receptionist (Guest Service Agent) to join our Metropole Apartment Hotel in Melbourne. Experience in this position will be highly regarded.
You must have a genuine passion for hospitality, a calmness while working under pressure with a keen eye for detail in facility, service, and product delivery. You will understand that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.
Attributes
* A genuine friendly approach to others
* Hotel Front office experience favourably considered
* Demonstrable ability to assist in the reservation process from phone call to check-in and follow through to check-out
* Knowledge of RMS, or similar system is a definite advantage but not essential
* Good knowledge of hotels or the serviced apartment industry and procedures is desirable
* Flexibility to work a varied roster including evenings and possibly weekends
* Professional telephone manner and communication skills
* Computer literacy in Word and Excel is preferred
* Patience and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* An eye for detail, professional personal presentation and good organisational skills
* Previous Experience is a definite bonus
* Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with a 'can do attitude'
* Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
* Candidates without hospitality background must have customer service experience.
