Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a 12-month maximum-term contract based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne. This position is responsible for site-wide recruitment for Boeing Aerostructures Australia across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and related support functions.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end recruitment process including job briefing, advertising, screening, participation in interviews and assessment centers, offer generation, and coordination of onboarding experience.
* Partner with Hiring Managers and Business Leaders to understand recruitment needs, and support best practice attraction, assessment, and selection activities and processes.
* Pro-active sourcing activities for potential candidates through multiple channels both traditional as well as social media channels.
* Work with business partners to understand future hiring requirements through workforce planning and their business goals in partnership with the local HR team.
* Participate in promoting career opportunities at career events.
* Monitor recruitment progress and track statistics on key talent acquisition metrics reporting status to key stakeholders.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in internal recruitment in a large matrix organisation.
* Strong track record of recruiting for manufacturing and / or engineering roles is preferred.
* Understand end to end recruitment process, talent market and familiar with contractor, permanent and outsourcing service and channels.
* Experience with application tracking systems (Workday or similar) is highly advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Office (MS Work, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a sense of urgency.
* Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working autonomously under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
* Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills, capable of dealing with all levels, across a matrix style organisation.
* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
