Management Accountant
A newly created position is available to support an established function.
About the Role
* Prepare and review management reports, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
* Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
* Collaborate with production managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting for manufacturing processes.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Perform variance analysis and report on key financial metrics.
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and compliance documentation.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.
Key Requirements
* Tertiary degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
* CPA/CA qualification (or in progress) is desirable.
* Immediately Available or available on short notice.
* Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors. Open to consider applications from all industries.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar is a plus).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
