About the Role
At Gracehaven Aged Care, we are seeking a warm, organised, and motivated Lifestyle Therapy Team Leader to lead engaging lifestyle programmes that support residents to live fulfilling and connected lives within our aged care community.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support Lifestyle Therapy staff and volunteers
* Coordinate engaging group and individual lifestyle activities
* Develop and review person‐centred lifestyle programmes
* Encourage resident participation, wellbeing, and connection
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
* Maintain accurate documentation and activity records
* Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
About You
You are passionate about improving the lives of older people and enjoy creating meaningful experiences for others. You bring strong leadership skills, a caring approach, and the ability to build genuine relationships with residents and colleagues alike.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
* Experience delivering lifestyle or recreational programmes in aged care
* Previous leadership or team coordination experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain
* National Police Check, or ability to obtain
