This position is a unique opportunity to work with the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Support Service (NVSS) as the Service Manager of the VAD Pharmacy Service. This role is responsible for ensuring the VAD Pharmacy Service delivers compassionate, high quality safe services and overseeing the management of human, financial and material resources for VAD Pharmacy Service.

What You'll Be Doing
The Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Pharmacy Lead role manages the statewide Voluntary Assisted Dying Pharmacy Service (VAD-PS). NSLHD is responsible for hosting the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Support Service (NVSS), compromising three operational arms including VAD-PS which provide VAD services to eligible patients across NSW. This role includes being accountable for the service and client care provided and ensuring the VAD-PS delivers compassionate, high quality safe services and overseeing the management of human, financial and material resources for VAD-PS.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
* Current registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA with no conditions or restrictions on practice.
* Demonstrated experience of managing a pharmacy service, including human, financial and material resource management, compliance with legislative and policy requirements, performance monitoring, and quality improvement.
* Demonstrated experience in change management including cultural change leading to achievement of positive and sustained outcomes including consumer and/or clinician experience.
* Demonstrated high level capacity to set and manage competing priorities and to deliver high quality products within agreed timeframes and budgets.
* Superior leadership and oral and written communication skills.
