The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in commercial architectural drafting and design within Australia.
You must be highly proficient in Revit, as it is our primary drafting tool.
We also require a strong background in structural drafting, particularly with steel structures.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop draft and detailed drawings, models, and technical plans for architectural and structural projects.Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality documentation.Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.Revise and update drawings as required throughout project phases.Conduct site visits as necessary to assist with design coordination and modifications.Prepare construction phase drawings.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 3 years of working experience within Australia in architectural drafting or a related field.Strong proficiency in Revit (priority requirement).
Proficiency in additional industry-standard tools: AutoCAD.Experience with 3D rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray) is advantageous.Structural drafting skills and the ability to interpret structural documentation are highly preferred.Structural drafting experience is an essential requirement for this role.Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations, especially accessibility.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.You'll be joining a growing, Australian-owned, family-run business with over 50 years of combined industry experience.
